About us:
Salt & Light Ministry (SLM) is a new church plant that is located between Rocky Point and Castle Hayne, NC. We are a non-profit organization and recognized by our State and Federal Government as such. Our Pastor recieved the call of God three years ago (2019) to start this minisrty and has taken great joy in pursuing all that is needed to walk in obedience to this calling. Salt & Light Ministry will make every effort to lead and make disciples of all people. From the Children all the way to the Adults.
We believe that just as Paul preached in Acts 20:26-28 “26. If any of you should be lost, I will not be blamed, for my conscience is clean, 27. because I’ve taught you everything I could about God’s eternal plan and I’ve held nothing back. 28 .So guard your hearts. Be true shepherds over all the flock and feed them well. Remember, it was the Holy Spirit who appointed you to guard and oversee the churches that belong to Jesus, the Anointed One, which he purchased and established by his own blood.” that we are also commissined to preach the full counsel of God’s word. Jesus also said in John 8, “31 Jesus said to those Jews who believed in him, “When you continue to embrace all that I teach, you prove that you are my true followers. 32 For if you embrace the truth, it will release more freedom into your lives.” Jesus made it very clear that true followers are the ones who embrace these teachings. And once these teachings are embraced then there can be freedom from a life and bondage of sin.
Our church name derives from Matthew 5:13-16. 13 “You are the salt of the earth. But what good is salt if it has lost its flavor? Can you make it salty again? It will be thrown out and trampled underfoot as worthless. 14 “You are the light of the world—like a city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden. 15 No one lights a lamp and then puts it under a basket. Instead, a lamp is placed on a stand, where it gives light to everyone in the house. 16 In the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father.

Meet the Pastor and His Family
Pastor James has been a Christian for 25 years and has been proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ for over 20 years. He has assisted in numerious church plants and has honorably served in many different roles and positions from an Usher, Sound Tech, small Groups leader, Youth Pastor to serving directly under his Senior Pastor.
Pastor James has accepted the call from God to plant a church in the Wilmington, NC area. He desires the same thing that God wants for your life and wants to share God’s key principles on how to achieve it. He brings nothing more to the table other than the unfallible word of God and a hunger for the manifested word of God.
Pastor James is recognized under Salt & Light Ministry, Inc as an Ordained Pastor in accordance with their Articles of Incorporation. As God is leading him to plant a church, He takes very seriously and with Honor this call to lead an end of times church that will be such a great impact not just within the church arena but in the community, city, county, state, country, and all throughout the world.
Tithe/Offering/Donation
Malachi 3:10 Bring all the tithes into the storehouse so there will be enough food in my Temple. If you do,” says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, “I will open the windows of heaven for you. I will pour out a blessing so great you won’t have enough room to take it in! Try it! Put me to the test! 11 Your crops will be abundant, for I will guard them from insects and disease. Your grapes will not fall from the vine before they are ripe,” says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies. 12 “Then all nations will call you blessed, for your land will be such a delight,” says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies.
2 Corinthians 9:6 Remember this—a farmer who plants only a few seeds will get a small crop. But the one who plants generously will get a generous crop. 7 You must each decide in your heart how much to give. And don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure. “For God loves a person who gives cheerfully.” 8 And God will generously provide all you need. Then you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others. 9 As the Scriptures say,
God can only bless the seed that is planted. Would you consider planting a seed into this ministry so that it may produce more seed. We humbly and Graciously thank you for all that you do and plant into the Kingdom of God!
